BLM Dakotas Resource Council meeting set

The Bureau of Land Management Dakotas Resource Advisory Council will meet Feb. 12 at the Bowman City office building located at 101 First Street Northeast in Bowman.

The meeting is open to the public and will start at 9 a.m. The public comment period will be 11 a.m. until noon. Interested persons may make oral presentations or file written statements for the council to consider and depending on the number of persons wishing to comment and time available, the time for individual oral comments may be limited.

Topics to be discussed at the meeting will include RAC member briefings to the BLM, North Dakota and South Dakota Field Office updates, an update on the BLM Montana/Dakotas Wild Horse and Burro Program and other topics the council may raise.

The purpose of the RAC is to advise the Secretary of the Interior, through the BLM, on a variety of issues associated with public land management.
