Bonus ranching seminar scheduled
On Sept. 17, 2010, University of Nebraska Lincoln Extension is partnering with the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, the Sandhills Resource Conservation and Development District and a group of ranchers who have successfully developed value-added enterprises on their ranches and are collectively known as Nebraska High Country, to deliver a day-long conference to help other ranchers understand how to utilize their resources to generate additional business stability.
This program will be held at the Halsey State 4H Camp, just west of Halsey, NE, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Subjects covered will include collaborating with other ranchers, developing an enterprise plan, agri-tourism in Nebraska and marketing an enterprise on the web.
