Cabela’s Dutch oven cook off and South Dakota wild game challenge results
MITCHELL, SD – Some days are made for outdoor events, and Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010 was one of them. Just after the sun rose, eight teams rolled into the Cabela’s parking lot, set up canopies and hauled out Dutch oven gear to compete in the Cabela’s $500 Dutch Oven Challenge. It wasn’t long before delicious smells wafted on the breeze as the surprise ingredient of pork sausage was cooked up to be added to a variety of Main Course Dishes seasoned with one of Cabela’s own All Purpose Seasoning mixes.
