Chris and Sheila Christensen, along with their daughter Amy and family, hosted the annual Christensen Simmental Production sale at the ranch on April 24, 2010. With heavy rain leading up to the sale, conditions were muddy, but the cattle were in excellent condition. The bulls had been running on pasture until the morning of the sale, so they looked in extremely well on sale day.

Christensen Simmental specializes in raising high-performance Simmental and Angus based cattle including registered and commercial bulls and heifers, and club calves. These cattle are bred to thrive in South Dakota range conditions on a roughage-based diet with no creep feed. The sale offering included a wide variety of bulls and females that will fit the needs of any breeder or commercial cattleman.

A very nice crowd of repeat and new buyers supported the Christensen family for a very successful sale.
