A benefit auction hosted by "Friends of Clint Ridley" will be March 21, at the Loud American Roadhouse, Main Street, Sturgis, South Dakota.

The Silent auction will begin at 11 a.m., the live auction will be at 7 p.m. Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band will play later in the evening.

All about Clint:

Clint Ridley is a local rancher, businessman and cattle market commentator and analyst. Hundreds of people call Clint Ridley "friend," and he is a trusted mentor to many young livestock producers.

Clint had suffered from headaches for a while and a visit to his doctor eventually revealed a brain tumor. On Thursday Feb. 5, during a biopsy procedure at the Mayo Clinic, he started to bleed and emergency surgery was performed to remove most of the tumor and save his life. March 11, Clint headed home from Mayo.

On Saturday March 21, the many Friends of Clint Ridley will gather for Clint Ridley Day. Events will include both a silent and live auction and a concert and dance by Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers. All events will take place at the Loud American in Sturgis and 100 percent of the gross receipts that day will go to the Friends of Clint Ridley account, established at First Interstate Bank in Sturgis.
