COOL reform coalition supports repeal of rule
National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, Tyson Foods, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Nestle USA among 140 coalition members
On December 16, the COOL Reform Coalition, chaired by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Manufacturers, sent a letter to the members of the United States Congress expressing their support for the inclusion of text in the omnibus spending bill that would repeal provisions of the U.S. Country of Origin Labeling (COOL) rule for muscle cuts of meat, bringing the U.S. into compliance with our international trade obligations.
