Ellingson Angus Annual Production Sale

Chad and Julie Ellingson family along with Martin and Angie Schaff held a very successful production sale at the Schaff sale facility southeast of St. Anthony, ND. The outside temperature was in the low 30s and Mother Nature wasn’t sure if it should rain or snow, but that did not seem to affect the large number of buyers and bidders that were on hand to purchase this fantastic set of Angus cattle.

This set of cattle was in excellent sale condition and was available for viewing in large pens to allow perspective buyers the opportunity to study cattle from all angles. The bloodlines have been specifically selected for performance and structural soundness.

This may have only been their second production sale held on their own, but these families are no strangers to the beef industry or Angus breed. Last summer Chad Ellingson made a big commitment to the ranching operation and his family when he gave up his full-time position as Beef Sire Procurement Manager for Genex. This move has allowed for a full-time focus on raising top quality Angus seedstock and a great young family that is involved in most aspects of the operation.
