Evenson Angus has always strived to produce high performing cattle for their customers. They have placed special emphasis on easy-fleshing, fast-gaining cattle with maternal fertility and disposition. For the past several years they have carcass tested their cattle and finished out the steers. This gives them a real world perspective on what their cattle will do in the pasture and in the feedlot. The resulting data for last year’s steers that went to slaughter was 98.71 percent Choice or better, with 14.32 percent prime and a whopping 69.01 percent CAB.
