Farm American Project will promote ag through NASCAR

Like a lot of farmers and ranchers, Barner Visser built his company, Furniture Row, from the ground up. He started with one small shop in Denver, CO, where he sold his simple invention, the bean bag chair. That small store quickly transformed into one of the fastest growing furniture chains today, selling brands such as Denver Mattress and Oak Express. As a self-made man, he truly understands the value of hard work, and maybe that’s why he relates to farmers and ranchers so well.

So, when Visser decided to start his own NASCAR team, he knew he wanted to use the opportunity to promote a worthwhile cause. When he was presented with the idea of endorsing America’s farmers and ranchers, he was certain that was where his Furniture Row racing team should place its focus.

Already, Visser has spent millions of his own dollars developing his Furniture Row racing team, where he has developed the Farm American Project. Many are surprised to see his car doesn’t have a single advertisement on it. Instead, the race car has colorful images of agriculture, and it reads, “Farm American – cultivating the future.”
