Farm Bureau: African swine fever getting worse in China
Outbreaks of African swine fever in pigs in China are getting worse and spreading to neighboring countries, the American Farm Bureau Federation’s Market Intel service said in an analysis Thursday.
The result may be positive for U.S. exports of pork and beef, but negative for U.S. soybeans since there will be fewer pigs to feed in Asia, Michael Nepveux, a Farm Bureau economist wrote.
