Farmers to serve free sandwiches at Select Lynn’s Dakotamarts

SIOUX FALLS, SD – For the third year in a row, pork is the official meat of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, and South Dakota pork farmers will be celebrating their versatile and healthy product at area Lynn’s Dakotamart stores. Forty South Dakota pork farmers will give away 2000 pounds of free pork loin sandwiches, recipe books and t-shirts from July 31 through August 3 in Custer, Hot Springs, Lead, Belle Fourche and Sturgis.
On Thursday, July 31, free pork sandwiches will be available at the Custer and Hot Springs Dakotamart stores starting at 4 pm. On Friday and Saturday, August 1 and 2, pork producers will grill in front of the Lazelle Street Dakotamart in Sturgis from 10 am to 3 pm. The producers conclude the store promotions on August 3 at the Belle Fourche and Lead Dakotamart stores where sandwiches are available from 11 am to 2 pm. Grilling 2000 pounds of pork is made possible by John Morrell & Co and Lynn’s Dakotamart stores.
Pork products are also being served as daily feature entrees from August 2- 9 at the ASE/Ultra Wheel/City of Sturgis VIP Hospitality Village. Pork is the feature entree for the Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Exhibitor Appreciation Reception on Friday, August 1, the 6th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Mayor’s Ride Luncheon on Monday, August 4, and the Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Sponsor Reception on Tuesday, August 5.
