Out of PC Frenchmans Flirt, a full sister to Leading Barrel Horse Sire Frenchmans Guy, he has a promising future with new owners Echeta Performance Horses from Gillette, WY. Commanding a final bid of $31,000, he was consigned by Barb Westover and Frances Loiseau from Egan, SD.

VALENTINE, NE – Headed on the fast track to becoming one of the leading sires of arena champions, the AAA runner A Streak Of Fling is making his mark on the industry. His talents on the track have now evolved into the performance arena plus his siring ability has caught the attention of knowledgeable horsemen from across the nation. Fulton Performance Horses presented their annual sale with a location move to the Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine, NE on Saturday, Aug. 29th.

For the first time, NFR Steer Wrestling and Tie-Down Qualifier Brian Fulton, wife Lisa and boys Jake, Jared and John Lloyd, hosted their sale closer to home and the public response proved their confidence in the Fulton Quarter Horse program. Great weather, an afternoon of consignment previews and a fast moving sale were welcomed by an overflow crowd. Along with guest consignors, they offered 68 head of select consignments with records showing transfers to 20 states at the 2009 sale.

Consigned by Barb Westover and Frances Loiseau from Egan, SD, the promising young stallion French Streaktovegas drew rapid bidding and left the ring on a final bid of $31,000. The strong two-year-old bay roan stallion is sired by A Streak Of Fling, the Fulton’s son of Streakin Six si 104, and he has the packed pedigree to become a top performance horse and sire. His dam, the great mare PC Frenchmans Flirt, is a full sister to Leading Barrel Horse Sire Frenchmans Guy with close to $2.5 million in progeny earnings. Gillette, WY will become his home with Echeta Performance Horses where he will be guided to a promising barrel racing career through the experienced hands of Tasha Welsh.

Sired by A Streak Of Fling, her dam is a daughter of Paddys Irish Whiskey and out of Easy April Lena, a full sister to Rachael Myllymaki’s multiple NFR Barrel Racing Qualifier Easy Does It Doc.

Consigned by the Krebs Ranch from Gordon, NE, the outstanding bay roan yearling stallion KR Blue Streaker left the ring on a bid of $19,000 from David Markley of Albany, IN. Out of the mare Sancee Bug, an own daughter of Shawne Bug si 101, he too showed promising potential in the performance arena.



CS Flashlight, a bright young star as the freshman sire in the Fulton Quarter Horse breeding program, proved his speed and agility in the preview prior to the sale. Ridden by NFR Qualifier Randy Suhn, the 14.3 hand gray son of Royal Quick Dash with a speed index of 106, blew the crowd away with a phenomenal performance in the steer wrestling demonstration.
