48 Angus bulls: $3,500
26 Red Angus bulls: $4,510
Heart River Ranch, Chuck and Annette Steffan & Family and Open A Angus, Jim & Lynn Arthaud & Family held their 8th annual bull sale at the Community Center in historic Medora, N.D. The bulls were displayed in roomy pens outside and sold via the big screen in the comfortable setting inside.
The Angus bulls and Red Angus compliment each other very well in the fact that both of these operations have the same ranching philosophy and management. The bulls are raised in the rugged Badlands of North Dakota on mother’s milk and grass. The bulls were in great sale condition, carrying just enough flesh to express their natural thickness, but not overly conditioned to ensure sound feet and legs and longevity.
