Heifers for South Dakota couple to be recognized in Rapid City

The Western Resource Conservation and Development Conference, to be held in Rapid City, S.D., Jan. 11-13 at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel. One major aspect of their conference this year is telling of the success of Heifers for S.D., and honoring Ty and Rosalie Linger with their annual President's Award.

Sunday evening, Jan. 11, participants will have the chance to hear cowboy poetry by Bonnie Krogman.

On Jan. 12 at 1:45, those interested should plan to attend the Black Hills Mountain Pine Beetle Partnership presentation by Dave Thom, Coordinator, MPB Working Group.

Rocky Knippling, Project Coordinator & Alicia Bairey, Assistant Project Coordinator will put on a presentation about the Lewis & Clark Watershed Implementation Project Partnership on Jan. 13 at 1:30.

RC&D success stories will be presented both Jan. 12 and 13.
