According to news reports online Iowa Premium Beef, an abandoned-looking plant located in Tama, Iowa, is scheduled to reopen in 2014. Remodeling is being conducted, according to Mayor Dan Zimmerman in a Times-Republican story.
When the plant is running at full capacity, it is expected to provide 600 jobs, and will focus on custom processing and specialty brands, the story said. F
