Jauer Dependable Genetics 32nd Annual Bred Female and Bull Sale
Jauer Dependable Genetics held their 32nd Annual Bred Female and Bull Sale at the farm near Hinton, IA on Feb. 7. A beautiful, sunny day helped contribute to an excellent crowd. The slowdown in the economy was a timely asset as demand for the moderately framed, low input, low maintenance cattle was evident. The sale was strong, brisk, and steady throughout. Internet and phone bidding added to the success of the sale. Cattle sold into 15 states.
Volume female buyer was Luke Anderson of Tarboro, NC with 24 head. Volume bull buyer was Bobby Ellsworth of Fort Thompson, SD with 11 head.
