Judge rules in favor of PRCA in ERA lawsuit

On Feb. 4, the PRCA prevailed in its opposition to named Plaintiffs ERA, Trevor Brazile, Bobby Mote and Ryan Motes’ Motion for a Preliminary Injunction in their suit brought against the PRCA. Ordering their motion denied, United States District Judge Barbara Lynn concluded that, “Plaintiffs have not made a clear showing that they will suffer irreparable harm absent a preliminary injunction, nor that they are likely to succeed on the merits of their claims.”
The PRCA Bylaws at issue will be immediately enforced.
