LaGrand Angus Ranch Bull & Female Sale

Dan Piroutek
Joel, Michael and Jeff Lau of Armour, SD

The weather was very nice on sale day as LaGrand Angus Ranch hosted a nice crowd for their annual production sale. LaGrand Ranch, owned by the Pankratz family, brought an excellent set of cattle to the sale, with an especially good set of heifer calves. These bulls were very easy fleshing, with a lot of body, and had performance with great numbers.

The LaGrand Angus Ranch has used all of the latest technology involving genetic progress to advance this good herd of cattle. Several of the bulls in the sale were the result of embryo transplant. The LaGrand Ranch has a second-to-none guarantee with several other discounts offered. The sale was broadcast over Superior Livestock.

The sale moved along very rapidly… with this quite possibly being the last sale ever held at the old Bon View Farms Sale Barn. Next year the sale will be held, but it will move to a new location. The Pankratz family has all the plans in place to present quality bulls and females in the upcoming years.
