Larsen Ranch hosted their 40th Annual Production Sale at the ranch near Forsyth, Montana. The consistency of the sale directly reflected the consistency and uniformity of the bulls offered. The Larsen family also runs a commercial Angus herd so the directly know the traits that a commercial cattleman is looking for. There was an equal number of heifer bulls and power bulls available to make this sale a one stop shop for any ranchers needs. The weather was a bit brisk but that didn’t stop anybody from flipping down the flaps on their winter hats and going through the pens.
What is unique and outstanding about the Larsen program is that they run a large commercial herd as well and have time tested their own genetics in real world, cattlemen conditions for 65 years. The 120 bulls in the offering are a result of these proven genetics and are endorsed by Larsen Ranch Angus to help keep the commercial cattleman profitable for years to come.
