About 20 families affected by Legion Lake Fire
SD Stockgrowers has been working to identify the ranch families affected by the Legion Lake Fires last week. So far, we estimate that maybe 20 families were affected in some way with losses to fencing, pasture and hay.
Many of our members and those neighbors have reached out to ask how they can help. Here’s what we know so far:
Custer/Fall River County Farm Service Agency: 605-745-5716
Please report your losses to your county office as soon as you have taken inventory. Several programs will likely be available to assist with fencing and some hay losses.
