Lindskov-Thiel Ranch, owned by Les Lindskov and Brent Thiel and their families, hosted another huge crowd for their annual bull sale held at the ranch north of Isabel, SD. The start time of this year’s sale was held until 4 p.m. due to huge amounts of snowfall that occurred the day or two before the sale.

This partnership has stood the test of the time, as this Lindskov and Thiel’s 30th sale, and they continue to provide some of the top genetics in America. The late spring storm did not dampen spirits of local cattlemen, as they helped make this a new record sale for this reputable firm.

One thing that really struck me was the excellent disposition of this long string of bulls. The top end of both the Charolais and Angus bulls saw plenty of competition as purebred breeders from across the nation bid on these bulls.

The sale moved along in rapid fashion with Col. Lynn Weishaar at the helm, as he has been for every sale in their 30-year history.
