Logterman Family Production Sale

The Logterman family held their 7th annual production sale at Valentine Livestock Auction on Valentine’s Day in Valentine, NE.

The bulls in the sale were the result of nearly 20 years of planning and effort in the seed stock business for brothers Dwight and LeRoy Logterman. Their program is pretty simple: breed cattle that will produce long lasting females. A feminine, productive female will produce thick, meaty bulls. The bulls represented in the sale were sired by the cowmakers of both respective breeds.

The bulls had been fed at the Kilgore ranch and were in good working condition. They had not been pushed to ensure soundness and longevity.
