The Tastad family has been raising registered Angus cattle for 46 continuous years. This sale offering was one if the most uniform, heaviest muscled, deepest bodied bulls they have ever offered. The bulls were developed for soundness and longevity.

Topping the sale was Lot 1, McCumber 4X13 Extra 975, a 1/26/09 bull sired by Sinclair Extra 4X13 that sold to Haugen Cattle Co. of Hanaford, ND for $10,500.
Lot 17, McCumber Missing Link 9104, a 1/31/09 bull sired by OCC Missing Link 830M, was the next high seller at $8,750 to Kemnitz Angus of Platte, SD.
Joe Bohl of Rugby, ND bought the two sons of Sinclair Extra 4X13 at $8,750 apiece. Lot 3, McCumber 4X13 Extra 959, was born 1/24/09 and Lot 4, McCumber 4X13 Extra 9180, was born 2/15/09.
Selling at $7,500 was Lot 5, McCumber Missing Link 911, a 1/15/09 bull sired by OCC Missing Link 830M to Jake Hageland of Oberon, ND.
