Top cattlemen were there, looking for range-ready, moderate-framed and easy-fleshing bulls. In finding those type of cattle, they helped make the sale a consistent one from start to finish. Sixty-nine (69) coming two-year-old bulls averaged $3,905 with a top of $6,600.

The high-selling bull was Lot 32, MSAR Chinook 9122, a son of CAR Chinnook 786, going for $6,600 to repeat customer Joe Higgins, Naper, NE. This really thick, long, sharp bull had EPDs of +2.2 BW, +47 WW, +85 YW and +24 for Milk, with an 84-lb. birth weight and ratios of 105 for weaning and 112 for yearling.
