It was another standing room only crowd for the annual Deep Creek Angus and Millar Angus production sale held at Philip Livestock Auction, Philip, SD. T.J. and Jeanine Gabriel of Deep Creek Angus and Jon and Breezy Millar from Millar Angus presented an excellent set of yearling and two year old bulls that were eagerly accepted by the huge crowd of repeat and new buyers. There was very active bidding on every bull that gave these two operations their best sale ever.
The bulls were in working condition, fed to promote their genetic potential and not the feed truck. The bulls will be sound and be able to travel the diverse pastures of their new homes. There were bulls to suit most any facet of the industry, yearlings and two-year olds with plenty of calving ease, performance, carcass and fleshing ability.
