Miller Angus 28th Annual Production Sale

Scott Dirk and Dan Piroutek
Very Frey of the American Angus Association and sale host Curt Miller.

Curt Miller and family hosted their 28th Annual Bull and Female Sale at the Presho Livestock Auction, Presho, SD on April 5, 2010.

The Miller’s goal is to produce easy fleshing, eye appealing, sound cattle. This set of bulls fit that mold. They were powerful, long sided, deep bodied, with Angus looking heads and thick hind quarters. The bulls are bucket fed twice daily and it was sure evident by the quiet dispositions of the bulls. Curt felt this was the best set of bulls he has ever produced. The buyers in the seats seemed to agree as they aggressively bid on and purchased the bulls, giving the Millers a very successful sale.

Topping the sale was Lot 929, MA Impression 929, a 2/16/09 bull sired by Connealy Impression that sold to Eric Iverson of Murdo, SD for $6,000.
