Montana Cattle Crawl returns to Billings in September
The Fourth Annual Montana Cattle Crawl is slated for Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010 in Billings, MT. The Cattle Crawl is a progressive beef dinner featuring stops at the Windmill, Rex and Hilands Golf Club. Iron Chef winner Marcella Tatarka of Beyond Basil will be one of the featured chefs, joined by Elias Banderas from the Windmill, Andy Fulton from the Hilands Golf Club and National Beef Backer Award Winner, David Maplethorpe, from the Rex.
The Cattle Crawl is a project of the Young Stockgrowers committee of the Montana Stockgrowers Association (MSGA) to acquaint urban beef consumers with local ranchers and to encourage foodservice establishments to feature beef in a creative way. It is made possible by Montana cattle ranchers and their checkoff dollars. The Cattle Crawl is also sponsored by the Billings Chamber of Commerce’s Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Two tours are offered beginning at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the Windmill. Tickets are $75 per person or $140 per couple. For more information or to sign up, please contact Rose Malisani at MSGA at 406-442-3420.
