Montana: NILE accepting scholarship applications
BILLINGS, MT – The Northern International Livestock Exposition (NILE) is once again taking scholarship applications from high school seniors planning on attending any college, university, or vocational school. Applicants must have participated in NILE activities and be currently enrolled in a 4-H or FFA program.
“This is just another area in which the NILE works to give back to our youth that have a passion for agriculture,” said Justin Mills, General Manager for the NILE. The mission of the NILE is to promote livestock, agriculture education and respect of the western tradition. Providing scholarships for students and supporting their efforts to provide a viable future to the agriculture industry is important to the NILE organization.
Students interested in applying for a NILE scholarship can go to http://www.thenile.org. A full application can be downloaded from the Web site as well as other qualification information and details about applying for a NILE scholarship. In addition, most FFA advisors and 4-H offices across the region have been sent a copy of the application. All applications are due into the NILE office no later than April 1; the final selection will be made by committee.
