N. Dakota 4-H camp staff positions open

Add an internship to your resume. Work as a 4-H Camp Counselor and receive $480 per week plus free room and board. NDSU Extension Service is hiring an intern as a camp counselor.

Responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of research-based educational programming in camping and youth development while working under the supervision of the 4-H State Youth Specialist and ND 4-H camp chairs. Qualifications for the internship include the completion of at least two university semesters of undergraduate coursework (achieved at least a sophomore status by the 2016 fall semester). You must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for a counselor position.The intern may also choose to include additional time working in a county extension office.

Where is 4-H Camp:

The North Dakota 4-H Camp has undergone a complete renovation! The North Dakota 4-H Camp is on 80 acres of wooded riverfront property 1.5 miles west of Washburn, N.D., and has provided overnight camping to youth for over 40 years. The scenic campground is strategically located between the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and historic Fort Mandan along the Missouri River. Facilities include a renovated main dining hall, a new educational center with showering facilities, three updated sleeping cabins, each having its own bathroom.
