NDSU riders named high-point team
North Dakota State University’s Equestrian Team ended the fall semester by being named high-point team both days of competition Nov. 13-14.
Twenty-four members of the team competed against 130 riders on 10 teams from throughout the region in the event at the NDSU Equine Center.
Team member Janelle Lanoue, a senior from Alexandria, MN, also was named the high-point rider the second day of the competition.
“This was a great way to end the semester, and we hope we can enter the spring season with the same momentum,” says Tara Swanson, the team’s coach.
The team will compete next at the University of Minnesota, Crookston, on March 5-6, 2011.
