Neb. Cattlemen honor veterans
The Farmer-Stockman Council of Nebraska Cattlemen will once again be honoring veterans and active duty service members on Veterans’ Day at the Nebraska State Fair, Sept. 7. Gift certificates for beef are purchased with donated funds and randomly given to veterans and active duty service members who come by the Nebraska Cattlemen Beef Pit at the Nebraska State Fair.
“It is a small thing we can do for those who have given us so much,” stated Kevin Sladky, Farmer-Stockman chairman, “It is a great honor to be able to give these beef gift certificates.”
