Nebraska Red Angus Tour held Sept. 16

The Nebraska Red Angus Tour was held Tuesday, Sept. 16, hosted by three individual North Central Sandhills Ranches. There was a nice attendance of approximately 75-80 people who experienced beautiful weather. A bus was sponsored by the Nebraska Soybean Board for guests and it left from Valentine and went through the Wildlife Refuge there.

The first stop on the tour was at Beef Unlimited, owned by Jim, Shelly and Coy Goggins of Springview.

Breakfast was provided followed by the tour of Red Angus cows, calves and bred heifers. Beef Unlimited markets purebred coming two-year-old bulls at private treaty sale in November each year and select consignment sales.

Next stop was Arrowsmith Red Angus, owned by Brad Arrowsmith of Bassett. Guests toured Arrowsmith’s purebred Red Angus cow/calves, herd sires and bred heifers. Brad sells bulls private treaty and at select consignment sales each year.
