Nebraska: Women in ag meeting
NORTH PLATTE, Feb. 23, 2016 The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) along with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension will be hosting an educational meeting focused on Women in Agriculture on March 17, 2016 from 10:00am to 2:30 pm and lunch will be provided.
The meeting will take place at the UNL West Central Research & Extension Center located at 402 W. State Farm Rd. North Platte, NE.
Topics and speakers will include; “Get a Feel for Beef Nutrition” presented by Randy Sander, Extension Educator of Beef Systems, “Tax Planning in Uncertain Times” presented by Tina Barrett with Nebraska Farm Business Inc., and “BQA Certification/Veterinary Feed Directive” presented by Robert Eirich, Director of Beef Quality Assurance & Extension Educator. USDA agency program updates will also be presented.
