NRCS committee to meet Feb. 17 in Huron, S.D.
The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will hold the State Technical Committee (STC) Meeting on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at the Crossroads Hotel and Convention Center in Huron, SD. The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 10 a.m. (CST) and continue through about 1 p.m. The STC serves as an advisor to the NRCS State Conservationist.
The tentative meeting agenda includes the Cropping Systems Inventory, Client Gateway, Dynamic Soil Properties, Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 Program Update on the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) and Agricultural Easement Program (ACEP) Geographic Area Rate Caps, Resource Concerns Discussion, Conservation Innovation Grant update, Strikeforce Update, SD Wetland Compliance Update, and a Wetland Mitigation Banking Framework Update.
