Ogallala Livestock Auction Market celebrates 60th anniversary June 1

Congratulations go out to the Ogallala Livestock Auction Market, Inc., Ogallala, NE, celebrating six decades of serving area producers on June 1. The market is combining its anniversary celebration with its 4th annual customer appreciation barbecue, serving from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

The market has announced a special stocker and feeder sale on the June 1, along with its regular sale. An expected 4,000 choice stockers and feeders start selling at noon, preceded by butcher cows and bulls at 8 a.m.

Co-owners Dwayne Mays and Scott VanWinkle issued an invitation to all past and present customers to “Come join us for good food and prizes,” which include a Cheyenne “Frontier Days” package and a 60th anniversary belt buckle. For more information, call the market, 308-284-3071.
