Open house and free pork loin feed at Milbank (SD) dairy July 19
SIOUX FALLS, SD – Agriculture United for South Dakota and the Midwest Dairy Association will be hosting an open house and free pork loin feed at Mill Valley Dairy near Milbank, SD on Saturday, July 19 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Visitors to the open house will be able to tour the 600 cow dairy, owned and operated by Gerhard and Anna ter Denge. The facility features rapid exit double eight parlor with a naturally ventilated barn.
“We appreciate the ter Denge family’s willingness to open up their dairy farm to their neighbors,” said Steve Dick, Ag United Executive Director. “It is an excellent opportunity for neighbors to see first hand the operation of a modern day dairy facility,” Dick added.
Mill Valley Dairy is located 1.5 miles south of Milbank on Highway 15 and 2 miles west on 151st Street. Watch for signs.
