Peterson to address farm and ranch topics at the Central States Fair
RAPID CITY, SD – Jess Peterson, appointed chairman for the farm bill committee for the United States Cattlemen’s Association, will speak at the Central States Fair Livestock Show Ring on Sunday, Aug. 17 at approximately 5 p.m., following the open youth sheep show, and an update on COOL on Monday, Aug. 18, prior to the open youth beef show at 10 a.m.
Peterson is a member of the United States Cattleman’s Assocation and has been in Washington DC on a full-time basis, working on the farm bill, COOL, foot and mouth, and many other areas that impact agriculture.
