Ponca Creek Cattle Co. Angus Bull Sale

Ponca Creek Cattle Co. welcomed a great crowd of new and repeat buyers to the ranch for their annual Angus bull sale. This operation has progressively been increasing numbers and quality over the past several years and this year’s sale offering was a great testament to the commitment they have to producing quality seedstock for the bull buying public.

This was a nice uniform set of bulls sired by some of the top AI sires in the Angus breed. They were thick and stout, in good condition to go out and go to work. The sale offering was made up of a nice balance of calving ease bulls and power growth bulls.

High selling bulls include, Lot 32, Ponca Creek All Around 986, a 2/25/09 bull sired by Connealy All Around that sold to Schultz Bros. of Naper, NE for $7,000.



Schultz Bros. also purchased Lot 38, Pfaff CE Deluxe 092, a 2/11/09 bull by Stevenson CE Deluxe 1914 for $6,500.

Selling at $6,000 was Lot 25, Ponca Creek Pendleton 942, a 2/17/09 son of HARB Pendleton 765 JH, to Brandon Zeisler of St. Charles, SD.



Lot 50, Ponca Creek Upward 965, a 2/20/09 son of Sitz Upward 307R, sold to Greg Bammerlin of Mills, NE for $5,000.

Lot 51 sold to Kelly Bailey of Bonesteel, SD for $4,000. This bull is a 2/19/09 son of Sitz Upward 307R.

Lot 56, Ponca Creek Baron 988, a 2/25/09 bull sired by Connealy Baron 520C, sold to Mike Assman of Mission, SD for $4,000.
