Quality over quantity at 2009 Davison Co. Calf Show
Chalk it up to a late fall and a Christmas blizzard as the reasons for a small show at this year’s Davison County Winter Calf Show held at the fairgrounds in Mitchell, SD on Dec. 29-30, 2009. Just under 60 head were entered in show, but despite the lack of numbers, quality was not sacrificed.
For Kelsey Repenning and her family, dad Steve, mom Lori, and little sister Abby, showing cattle is both a hobby and a promotional tool, something that they all enjoy. At this year’s annual event, the Repenning family had their fair share of successes to kick off the show season.
