Ranchers complete terms on Montana Stockgrowers Board of Directors
Three ranchers recently completed terms on the Board of Directors for the Montana Stockgrowers Association (MSGA). Heath Martinell of Dell, Mick Denowh of Sidney, and Mark Harrison of Belt each served two two-year terms on the Board and were recognized for their contributions at the 129th Annual MSGA Convention and Tradeshow in December.
“Board members are a vital and integral part of keeping our Association moving forward and addressing issues that Montana ranchers face on a daily basis,” said MSGA President, Tucker Hughes of Stanford. “We greatly appreciate the hard work, time and dedication each rancher puts forward during their time serving on the Board of Directors.”
The 13-member board consists of Seedstock, Commercial, and Stocker cattle operators, representing the five districts across the state of Montana. Each member serves a two-year term on the Board of Directors and guides Association activities to execute Policy voted on by members each December at the Montana Stockgrowers Annual Convention.
Martinell and Denowh were elected in 2009 and re-elected in 2011, each serving two full terms with MSGA. Harrison was elected in 2010 and re-elected in 2012, but shorten his term on the Board due to health issues.
