The Inaugural Rosebud Ranch Horse Competition was held in Forsyth, Mont., May 24.

The event was a big success with many participants and the competition was keen. New to the competition circuit was the Rancher Class which does not require a rider to complete a reining pattern but includes all the rest of the requirements such as boxing, fence work, and roping.

Results of the competition are as follows:

Bridle Horse: 1st Gene Kokowski, 2nd Greg Severe

Junior Horse: 1st Paul Van Dyke, 2nd Robbie Moore

$1,000 LTD: 1st Whitney Fenske, 2nd JD Svedberg

$2,000 LTD: 1st Garrett Severe, 2nd Tyler Sherman

Rein and Box: 1st Jerry Gereghty, 2nd Shirley Redding

Rancher: 1st Will Croft, 2nd Tyler Sherman

Ranch Cutting: 1st Greg Severe, 2nd Amy Dellera
