Registration open for Kansas State University and K·Coe Isom Beef Sustainability Knowledge Summit
Kansas State University’s Beef Cattle Institute is partnering with K·Coe Isom for the upcoming Beef Sustainability Knowledge Summit, May 10, at K-State’s Manhattan campus. Registration for the event is now open to the public. Those who would like to attend can register online at https://beefsustainabilitysummit.eventbrite.com.
The summit will provide a single place where the entire beef supply chain can gather and discuss the key challenges facing the industry and learn from researchers about how to solve those challenges.
BCI creates a collaborative environment at Kansas State University to tackle today’s and tomorrow’s issues facing the beef industry. K·Coe Isom leads nationally as consultants and CPAs in the food and agricultural industry – from policy to plate. Together, the entities intend for the summit to enhance dialogue across the entire beef value chain.
The summit will host a cross section of producers, companies, non-governmental organizations, academics and consultants. Panel topics include animal health and care, feedstock management, environmental stewardship and economic sustainability. Each panel will host experts from across the supply chain. Confirmed groups that will be in attendance include: Kansas State University, Cargill Beef, World Wildlife Federation and the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Beef.
