Tim and Ree Reich of Reich Charolais hosted a nice crowd of buyers for their annual bull sale at Belle Fourche Livestock. Sale day weather was less than perfect, with a fairly major snow storm hitting central and western South Dakota.

This year’s bulls were well-grown and very expressive in their muscle pattern. These bulls are bred to produce calves that are born unassisted, full of vigor and strong urge to get up and grow on their mother’s milk and grass with no extra feed. The bulls were on test from Dec. 8 through March 19, with an group average daily gain of 4.13 lbs. while on test.

The Reichs offer a first year unconditional guarantee, and they keep the bulls at no cost until May 15. Many buyers purchased several bulls at this year’s Reich Ranch Charolais bull sale.
