Revier Cattle Co. Angus Bull Sale

Scott Dirk

Revier Cattle Co. may be new to the Angus business, but they are defiantly not new to the cattle industry. The Revier family has been in the cattle feeding business for several decades at the home place in Olivia, MN.

To help ensure a steady supply of top quality feeder cattle and to establish a closer link to the ranching industry, Tom Revier started a registered Angus herd. Tom is dedicated to bring the same high quality focus to the seedstock operation as he does to the feeding operation by using top Angus genetics that will feed out and turn a profit for him and his customers.

The bulls in the sale showed lots of extra thickness, length and eye appeal. There was a smaller crowd at the sale and the bulls sold under the market for the quality. This is one of those “sleeper” sales that will only grow as the Revier Cattle Co. name gets more known in the registered Angus circles.

Topping the sale was Lot 2, RCC Destination 963, a 3/23/09 bull sired by GAR Predestined that sold to Jeff Aman of Hosmer, SD for $2,750.

Selling at $2,700 was Lot 26, RCC Rito Up 9134, a 3/3/09 bull by Rito 1i2 of 2536 of 6i6, to Don Gerard of Edgemont, SD.

Lot 22, RCC In Focus 9150, a 3/18/09 son of Mytty In Focus, sold to Jeff Aman of Hosmer, SD for $2,700.

Lot 29, RCC Best Answer 936, a 3/17/09 bull sired by SAV Final Answer 0035, sold to Bob Steers of Miller, SD for $2,600.

Lot 3, RCC Destination 966, a 3/24/09 bull by GAR Predestined, sold to Rodney Sharp of Belvidere, SD for $2,500.
