Rolling auction to benefit Faith’s new school fund drive
On Monday, Sept. 13, cattlemen and school supporters alike will have the opportunity to support the “New Faith School Building Fund Drive” by bidding on a heifer at the Faith Livestock Commission in Faith, SD.
The heifer, donated by Robert and Amy Ulrich of rural Faith, SD, will be sold via a “Rolling Auction.” Following the precedent set by the R-CALF rolling auctions, the 850-lb. heifer will be sold to the highest bidder who typically pays for it and then says, “Sell her again” and the auction keeps going until the end is reached.
According to Scott Vance of Faith Livestock, the auction will take place at approximately noon on Monday, Sept. 13 with all of the proceeds going to benefit the “New Faith School Building Fund Drive” which is now underway.
