Ropes and Goats begins on June 3

The first Ropes and Goats of the summer will be Tuesday, June 3 at 5:15 p.m. (an early start). We added a new and exciting goat-tying relay race that is open to boys and girls of all ages. Be at the Faith, S.D. rodeo grounds so you don't miss it!

Here's the new rule for the Bible verse: Memorize Philippians 4:12-13 and say it every time that you attend Ropes and Goats. Your name will go in the hat each time. At the last Ropes and Goats of the season, we'll draw for $60.

Here is what you memorize:

Philippians 4:12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength."

Ropes and Goats is beginning its fourth year. It is open for boys and girls of all ages 8-100. There are three runs each night in both goat tying and breakaway roping and it is for all ages basically using 4-H rules. Join us on Facebook or call Karen Miller 739-3791 for more information.
