Ross Jordan: 1929-2015
Ross F. Jordan, lifetime Meade County rancher, died peacefully at the South Dakota Human Services Center in Yankton on Friday, Sept. 25 at the age of 86.
Ross was born Jan. 15, 1929 in Sturgis to Frederick and Olga (Hanson) Jordan. He married Bonny Lou Strong, May 22, 1955. Ross and Bonny Lou were blessed with two children, Rick and Judy.
Ross is survived by his children Rick (Chris) Jordan and Judy (Al) Parsons; two grandchildren, Dustin Jordan and Shannon (Kyle) Brown, and three great-grandchildren, Isaac Jordan, Christine Jordan and Wyatt Brown.
He was proceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Bonny Lou and his parents Frederick and Olga Jordan.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 1 at Kinkade Funeral
Chapel in Sturgis.
Services will be at 2 pm Friday, Oct. 2 at Grace Lutheran Church with
Pastor Henrique Fleming and the Rev. Harold Delbridge officiating. Burial
will follow at the Bear Butte Cemetery.
