Rural women making a difference

Rural women from across the region are invited to attend the annual Rural Women’s Conference that will be held Sept. 26-27 in Spearfish, SD, brought to you by SD Women In Agriculture.

With the theme “Holding the Heart of America, the Heart of the Future,” the event will include educational sessions centered on family life and communication, ag production, starting a business, and professional development.

Matt Demarco will be the featured keynote speaker with his presentation, “He Said, She Said: Exploring How Men and Women Communicate.”

Think that men and women communicate differently? You’re right. Think that there’s nothing you can do to change that? Think again.

The conference welcome’s back the NCBA Beef and Veal Culinary Kitchen. Women will learn how to add some splash to that beef roast by experts in the beef industry.
