Ryan Clark Mansfield

Former bull rider Ryan Mansfield has passed away at the age of 35 in Spokane, WA. He suffered a spinal cord injury while riding July 11, 2009.

Ryan took his last eight-second ride out of the chute on Saturday, March 12, 2011. He was surrounded by his family and friends as he departed and entered the Kingdom of Heaven.

Ryan had the biggest heart and was a true cowboy. Ryan loved the rodeo, fishing, horseback riding and river rafting. He was a best friend to many and enjoyed being with his family. Ryan was preceded in death by his Step-father Bob Gilbert. He leaves behind his Grandmother Dorothy; mom, Kathy Gilbert; dad, Don Mansfield; brothers Shane (Carrie) Gilbert; Kody (Julie) Johnson; Kory (Rachel) Johnson and Brandon Mansfield; sisters Gayla (Marty) Nealis; Natalie Mansfield and Heather (Tony) Martinez; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Ace.

A memorial service was held in memory of Ryan on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 3 p.m. at the Fellowship Church of God, 2102 E. Everett Ave., Spokane, WA.
