S.D. 4-H selling 2014 calendars
December 13, 2013
South Dakota 4-H is selling calendars featuring award-winning photography exhibited at the 2013 South Dakota State Fair this Holiday Season. A portion of all proceeds will go to the Rancher Relief Fund to aid those who lost livestock during Winter Storm Atlas this October.
This is the fifth year South Dakota 4-H has designed and sold calendars which contains photographs carefully selected by State Fair judges.
"Originally the calendars were designed as another way to recognize the skills developed by our 4-H Youth," said John Keimig, SDSU Extension 4-H Associate.
Due to the increased use of photography technology, in 2013 more than 3,000 photography projects were exhibited at the South Dakota State Fair.
